Local Law No. 7 of 2022 of the Village of Baldwinsville adopts, as the village's local energy conservation construction code, the State Energy Code as modified in the manner contemplated by NYStretch Energy Code 2020, Version 1.0, dated July 2019, published by NYSERDA. The Village of Baldwinsville local law filed with the New York State Department of State states that a building permit shall be required for any work which must conform to the Uniform Code or the Energy Code, including the installation of a solid fuel burning heating appliance, chimney, or flue in any dwelling unit, and then lists the exemptions the village has adopted.
